Registered on the UNESCO list of world heritage, a volcano of 20/km2 in the North of Tanzania, which extinct and formed following the collapse of its magma chamber emptied during a volcanic eruption. It is the largest intact submerged caldera in the world.

At the bottom is a vast plain with blue and green reflections, populated with all (or almost) African fauna, in particular the highest density of lions and predators. You may also have the chance to see an endangered species = the black rhino.
It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The reason for this abundance of life is the presence of water: the marshes are irrigated by permanent springs and the grass is better there than elsewhere.
The crater is part of the Maasai territory and 40,000 of them reside there. You will see them with their herds, or sell collars. You can therefore enter a camp and share a moment with them.
